This is my online HQ for anything related to User Experience Design. I am a Sharkie – a member of the Tangoshark-clan. Tangoshark is a Digital Interactive Agency headquartered in the sunny island of Singapore. Tangoshark serves blue-chip clients such as Scoot, Bridgestone, Sony, DBS Bank, and HCL Technologies.

My interest is in Digital Strategy and User Experience Design. I am a Digital Strategist.

My firm believe is that the ultimate success of any product lies in the experience that a user goes through in consuming that product. Any and all forms of marketing, and advertising (be it traditional, digital, and/or integrated advertising), has simply to spread that experience to the end user. So the key is , borrowing from an old saying, to focus on building a better mouse-trap. Once that is achieved, word just have to be spread through the effective use of marketing and advertising campaigns as catalysts and the adoption of that mouse-trap will catch on like wild-fire.

This blog is all about Digital Strategy and Experience Design. According to Wikipedia, “Experience design (XD) is the practice of designing products, processes, services, events, and environments with a focus placed on the quality of the user experience and culturally relevant solutions, with less emphasis placed on increasing and improving functionality of the design.

An emerging discipline, experience design draws from many other disciplines including cognitive psychology and perceptual psychology, linguistics, cognitive science, architecture and environmental design, haptics, hazard analysis, product design, theatre, information design, information architecture, ethnography, brand strategy, interaction design, service design, storytelling, heuristics, and design thinking.”
